What does it really take to turn the best of your career, experience, and strengths into a thriving consulting or coaching business that makes money AND makes a difference?
Consulting Matters explores that question and the practical strategies behind starting, growing and evolving the right consulting or coaching business for you.
Hosted by Betsy Jordyn, ex-Disney consultant turned Business Mentor and Brand Positioning & Messaging Strategist, the show draws on more than 30 years in the consulting and coaching industry to tackle everything from choosing the right niche and getting your brand positioning right to packaging your expertise, creating brand messaging that connects with clients, building a credible website, creating a predictable client pipeline and landing more strategic, higher paying engagements.
Because “just getting out there and getting clients” isn’t the answer. And referrals on repeat isn’t the dream. If you want more control over your success, you have to take charge of how you position yourself in the market and with the clients you most want to serve.
Each month, Consulting Matters takes on a different aspect of starting, growing or evolving a consulting or coaching business. Some episodes go deep into the strategy. Quick Wins tackle practical questions and ideas you can put to work right away. Pep Talks address the fear, self doubt and analysis paralysis that can keep even the most accomplished professionals stuck. Conversations with consultants, coaches and experts bring additional perspectives that remind us that we are catalysts for transformation.
And yes, the name Consulting Matters is intentional.
It’s a show about the matters of consulting and coaching. But it’s also built on Betsy’s belief that consulting and coaching matters. The work you do can change businesses, careers and lives. And the more effectively you own, position and communicate the value of that work, the greater the difference you can make.
Here’s the assignment: Listen, learn, then put it to work so you fully own the power of what you do and intentionally position yourself for the clients, impact, and income you’re fully capable of.
